While AI tools are an amazing addition to the healthcare space their application will likely not replace a nurses personal care anytime soon. However, they work nurses have to do may be getting a little easier. While AI will not likely be dispensing meds or hanging IV’s it can help with some of the other duties nurses must perform several times a day with each of their patients.

One way in which. AI can assist nurses is the lifting and turning patients. This can be a tough task especially for patients that are too ill to turn themselves. To avoid bedsores and infection patients that are ill or ever paralyzed need assistance to move. And often it takes more than one nurse to do the job. This is where AI could be used to assist in moving the patient saving nurses from potential injury and back pain.
