Epic to Integrate with Apple

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you’re new to the EMR space or you could be a seasoned vet but one thing many people may not have seen coming was a merger or at least a joint venture between the biggest name in EMRs and one of the largest tech giants of our time Apple.

It’s no secrete that healthcare is a large part of the US’s GDP and everyone is getting into the space. Many, myself included thought that Amazon would be to first major player to take the health sector more seriously and while the company is making some strides they are not, as we know at the time of this writing, making partnerships with the largest healthcare software provider in world.

Be This deal is being kept under wraps for now but we are all waiting to see what this will mean for both companies. Only time will tell, so stay tuned.
